How to use the AC8 campaign progress tracker

My Progress is a local flight log. It stores records that you choose to enter; it does not read your game save or connect to a platform account.

Add a real result

Enter the mission label from the game, the difficulty, actual rank, score and displayed time. Notes can preserve your aircraft choice, retry behaviour or the purpose of the attempt. Time uses minutes and seconds, such as 12:30.

Know where the data lives

Records are saved in this site's browser storage. Another browser, another domain or another device will not have them automatically. Clearing site data can remove the log.

Export a backup

Use Export JSON before clearing browser data or moving devices. Keep the file somewhere you control. The export contains your records, not your platform account credentials.

Import without uploading

Import validates the entire local JSON file before merging by record ID. A newer timestamp wins; equal timestamps keep the current entry. A malformed file, a file above 1 MB, or a merged log above 500 records is rejected without replacing the log. An old backup cannot overwrite a newer copy of the same ID.

There is no deletion history: importing a backup can restore a row you previously deleted. Export the current log first and inspect the result. Other open tabs receive storage updates, but simultaneous edits are not a cloud transaction; avoid editing the same log in two tabs at once.

Recover from unreadable storage

If the log cannot be read, adding results and importing are locked instead of treating the log as empty. Use Export raw recovery data before clearing anything. This downloads the unchanged stored text, which may require manual repair; it is not a guaranteed valid backup.

Clear records requires confirmation and resets only the mission log. Declining keeps the original bytes. The separate named-ace checklist is not touched. A browser that completely blocks storage may also block raw export; try the original browser profile before resetting.

Understand the count

The displayed number is the count of your saved entries. It is not a claim that you have completed a particular percentage of the whole game.

Does switching the site language reset my progress?+

No. English and Chinese pages use the same storage key on this site.
