ACE COMBAT 8 Mission 16 Singer S-Rank Guide
Review Mission 16 Singer with community score references, careful ship-identification notes and an MRP debrief that avoids fixed income or rank promises.

Mission 16, Singer, is useful to study as both a scoring problem and a repeat-run efficiency problem, but those are not the same metric. Use the community score reference below for a conditional debrief. Measure your own MRP and elapsed session time separately when evaluating repeat runs.
Identification before route optimization
WanderingTanuki describes three ship-layout patterns, using an initial group's target position to identify later groups. That grouping is the author's map notation, not an official universal set of in-game labels. Use the original guide's diagrams to understand it; this page does not recreate a map from incomplete text.
A practical learning sequence is to identify the relevant ship correctly, finish the attempt, and record where time was lost. Only then optimize travel between confirmed targets. A route can look shorter on paper yet be worse if it makes visual identification difficult. Do not convert a remembered pattern into an instruction to fire before confirming the current target.
The farming guide and the more cautious S-rank guide do not have identical confidence about fixed ship arrangements. Treat pattern recognition as a community strategy to test, not an independently established spawn guarantee. We have not added a deterministic “find all three ships” tool based on those claims.
Mission 16 scoring reference
Source review: 2026-10-13 . No exact game patch is matched. The linked numerical references share one data lineage, not independent verification.
| Reported S-rank total target | 40,000 |
|---|---|
| Maximum reported time bonus | 20,000 |
| Reported decay starts | 7:10 |
| Reported zero-bonus point | 11:50 |
| Tool reference scope | Ace / Free Mission |
| Exact curve inside the interval | Unconfirmed; no linear interpolation |
Read the score and time together
The listed maximum time bonus is large relative to the target. Under this reference, 20,000 destruction points plus the full listed bonus reach 40,000 exactly. That is a mathematical boundary, not a recommended margin. With any mismatch in rules, timing or inputs, a boundary example is fragile.
For a hypothetical 22,000 destruction score at 7:00, the reported full-bonus bracket produces 42,000. At 9:00, the same destruction score gives a conservative 22,000–42,000 range because the precise decay curve is not confirmed. At 12:00, the listed zero-bonus bracket leaves 22,000.
This comparison illustrates why a single score screenshot without a matching time can be misleading. It does not prove that time is always your only problem, or that every game build uses the same arithmetic. Preserve the actual result screen when a run contradicts the reference.
MRP per session minute, not a copied headline
To compare your own attempts, divide the MRP actually awarded by the time you spent repeating the loop. Include menu navigation, loading, identification, retries and return to the menu if those consume your available play session.
For example, an invented test case of 60,000 MRP over four minutes averages 15,000 MRP per minute. The same award over six minutes averages 10,000. These figures are arithmetic examples, not claimed Singer payouts. A fast successful run can overstate your routine output if failed runs are omitted.
Record several ordinary attempts with the same setup and compare the whole session rather than selecting only the best one. Do not mix an Elite-difficulty MRP report with the Ace / Free Mission scoring reference used by this tool. Keep campaign resources separate from ACE COMBAT ONLINE progress.

A useful Singer flight-log entry
In the local flight log, enter the game's actual rank, destruction score and result time. Use notes for identification mistakes, your aircraft and weapon, MRP awarded and total repeat-loop duration. There is no automatic upload, public leaderboard or implied verification of your entry.
Is Singer guaranteed to be the best MRP farm?
No. This site has not measured every alternative. The linked farming guide is a player's strategy, and actual efficiency depends on conditions and your completed attempts.
Why does a middle-of-interval time return a range?
The sources provide endpoints, but not a sufficiently verified curve and rounding rule for this implementation. A range is more honest than an exact-looking guess.
