ACE COMBAT 8 MRP Farming: Missions, Routes & Rewards

Choose an ACE COMBAT 8 MRP farming route, compare Singer and late-game replay reports, measure rewards per minute, and plan the 16M and 25M MRP achievements.

Start with Mission 16: Singer if you can identify its ships consistently. If you are earlier in the campaign, try Mission 7; for a later alternative, compare Mission 27 with a ground-attack setup. Choose the route that earns more MRP over your complete repeat session. That is our recommendation from the reports below, not a measured ranking of every mission.

MRP pays for aircraft progression, as the official walkthrough explains. This guide covers campaign replays and contains mission-objective spoilers. Sources checked October 18, 2026; the routes and payouts below are player reports, not site-tested results.

Choose a route

Start with a mission and difficulty already available in your own replay menu. Keep a setup you can complete reliably before buying a new plane just for a reported farm. Record the game version, difficulty and selected weapons so that later comparisons use the same conditions.

Your situationCandidateWhat to check before repeating
Early campaign, limited aircraftMission 7 with unguided bombsCan you clear the ground-target route without repeated misses?
Comfortable with ship identificationMission 16: SingerAre inspections and the UAV interception consistent?
Later campaign, prefer surface targetsMission 27 with SODCan you line up the target rows efficiently? Include objective waiting time.
Already working on Mission 28Finish that run and measure itA large single payout needs a full duration before it can be compared with short loops.

The table is a selection aid. For rank-specific tactics, use the Mission 7, Singer and Mission 28 guides. There is no complete Mission 27 walkthrough on this site yet.

Mission 16 repeat loop

Chicken Pog Pie's original guide describes inspecting the disguised ships for three cranes and a sun emblem, sinking the remaining ship promptly after the UAV event, then intercepting every drone. It recommends Gripen E with SASM against clustered UAVs. Treat this as a reported loadout option; check your available aircraft and weapons.

Use this repeat-session checklist:

  1. Prepare one stable setup. Select the mission, difficulty and anti-air weapon before starting your timer. Avoid changing all three during a comparison.
  2. Confirm each ship visually. Use the Singer identification and pattern notes if you lose time searching. Reposition for an unclear emblem rather than gambling a whole run on an uncertain target.
  3. Respond to the mission update. Check the airborne objectives. A sunk ship does not account for drones already in flight; finish the interception and wait for the result screen.
  4. Write down the actual award. Keep MRP separate from destruction score and time bonus. Note a failed run even if it adds no currency.
  5. Return to the same starting point. Stop the timer when you are ready to launch again. Repeat several times before judging the route.

WanderingTanuki reports 82,056 MRP for an Elite S-rank clear, with a claimed mission time below three minutes, and suggests F/A-18E or Su-35S with 6AAM. This is one author's report, with no complete menu-to-menu timing supplied. It does not promise that your first attempt will reproduce the payout or pace.

Other routes to compare

Mission 7, early option: Max's guide recommends unguided bombs, an opening sweep through fuel trucks and ground installations, then the southwest airfield, Return Line, southern oil field and remaining bunkers. The author reports up to roughly 90,000 MRP, but does not give a matching difficulty and full-loop time. Use it as a route candidate, not an hourly-income forecast.

Mission 27, later option: Andy's October 10 comment on the Singer guide recommends SOD along rows of primary targets, reporting approximately 270,000 MRP on Ace in 11 minutes, including a wait after the first phase. This is a separate player's approximate observation. It is not a controlled comparison with the Elite Singer run above. Read the special-weapons guide before buying a different surface-attack setup.

Mission 28: a player in the MRP Aplenty discussion reports 700,000 MRP on a first Pilot-difficulty clear; the replies flag first-clear bonuses. There is no comparable repeat-loop timing there. Exclude that first-clear figure when estimating routine farm income. Follow the Mission 28 loadout and resupply route if you also need to complete that mission.

Measure MRP per minute

Session rate = total MRP actually earned ÷ total session minutes. Include loading, menus, target-search time and retries. If you pause for a break, exclude the break consistently from every route. Add rewards and time first; do not average individual per-run rates when run lengths differ.

These are invented examples to explain the arithmetic, not game payouts or benchmarks:

Example sessionTotal MRP earnedTotal timeMRP per minute
A: three successful loops240,00012 minutes20,000
A: same rewards, plus four minutes lost240,00016 minutes15,000
B: one larger award360,00024 minutes15,000

A's extra four minutes removes its apparent advantage over B. That is why a bigger reward or a shorter successful run alone cannot establish the better farm.

For your own comparison, record at least three ordinary attempts per setup. Note mission, difficulty, loadout, first clear or repeat, award, total loop time and failure cause. Improve the largest recurring delay, then measure again. Three attempts are a practical starting point, not a statistically validated benchmark.

Use My Progress for notes if helpful. Put MRP and loop duration in the notes field; its score field and S-rank calculator do not calculate currency or achievement progress.

The 16 million and 25 million goals

The official Steam achievement list sets Need A Bigger Bank at 16,000,000 total MRP obtained and MRP Aplenty at 25,000,000. These are cumulative earning goals, not instructions to hold that much unspent currency. Current wallet balance is not the same measurement as total earned.

For achievement planning, subtract your verified cumulative earned total from the target. For a purchase, subtract your current spendable balance from the in-game price instead. Do not substitute one total for the other.

Example only: a verified cumulative total of 23,800,000 leaves 1,200,000 toward the 25 million goal. At a measured session rate of 20,000 per minute, that is about 60 more minutes. The estimate changes with your actual future pace; it does not guarantee an unlock at a particular time.

If you still plan to collect aces or complete S ranks, do those runs before estimating the final grind. Update the remaining amount afterward rather than budgeting for the whole target from zero.

When the results do not match

  • Your payout is lower than a guide: compare difficulty, rank, first-clear status and the full reward breakdown. None of the reports above establishes a universal payout formula.
  • A higher difficulty takes much longer: run the same session comparison at a difficulty you finish reliably. Judge earned currency per total minute rather than assuming a difficulty label wins.
  • The displayed MRP looks like a balance: record the wallet immediately before and after a run with no purchases between. Separate the mission award, current balance and cumulative achievement total before diagnosing missing rewards.
  • You keep losing Singer runs: isolate identification mistakes or the UAV phase first. Do not keep repeating an unreliable route solely to chase a quoted three-minute time.
  • A result says Round Bonus: consult the time-bonus and Round Bonus explanation. We have not verified an AC8 Round Bonus farming formula.
What is the fastest MRP farm in ACE COMBAT 8?

Singer is a useful short-loop candidate once you can identify the ships reliably. Compare it with the other routes available to you using complete repeat-session timing. The cited reports do not establish one fastest route for every player.

Should I buy a new aircraft just to farm MRP?

First test a suitable setup you already own. If a purchase costs 200,000 MRP and improves your measured rate by only 2,000 per minute, it takes 100 minutes of farming to recover that expense. This is an invented break-even example, not an aircraft price or performance claim.

Does spending MRP undo the 25 million achievement goal?

Steam describes total MRP obtained, not an unspent-balance requirement. Track cumulative earnings for the achievement and your wallet for purchases; this website does not read either value from your save.
